DJ Mix Feedback: Phrasing, Energy, and Gain

Listen through your recorded mix once without stopping and mark every moment where energy drops unexpectedly. Do not fix anything on the first pass; your only job is to hear the set like a listener.

Then check phrase alignment around transitions, especially the eight or sixteen bars before each blend. Most rough mixes are not missing tricks, they are missing timing and patience.

Finally, compare gain across tracks without touching the master. A strong feedback request explains which transitions you want reviewed and what kind of room or set time you are preparing for.
